For Administration Leadership and All Council Members: midwestern citizens including all of Bloomington and Monroe county are paying very close attention to the AI wave and increase in control of resources that put cost burdens on the common rate payer instead of the companies drawing upon those resources the most. Citizens need some public acknowledgement that this is on leaders’ radar and that our leadership will have a voice in this issue as these projects continue to pop up in adjacent locations across the state. Leadership should be putting resources toward advocacy at the state level to get these costs lowered for common citizens and get these tech giants to pay their fair share. When folks can no longer afford power or water we have a major issue. Please don’t turn away from this rising issue. Water is the next big resource crisis and we need to stay ahead of it.

Just wanted to state support for Bloomington's annexation efforts. If someone agreed to be annexed in the future as a condition of that property sale, that should be upheld. And donut holes of non-City property help no one. Bloomington needs to continue to grow and prosper in those areas where it makes sense. Keep at it. Though please don't push for additional zones until services such as sewer are ready to be extended after the map firms up with current target areas.

There is a homeless camp behind our subdivision, Shady Acres at 708 S.Cory Lane. They have been walking through here to access the main roads. The abandoned building behind the Storage Facility I manage is home to many homeless around Bloomington. They are leaving trash all over the ground as well as throwing things into the back side of the property. I myself do not feel safe enough to go back there to clean this up and there are people living out of campers back there and sleeping on the ground. This is causing issues with debris and trash being tossed onto our property causing an unsafe environment. I can not properly clean this area safely and would like the owners if this building to clean up the area from trash and debris.

I am extremely disappointed that the City has chosen to keep the 7-Line closed for an additional 4 months. It is disheartening to know that even if we build bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, they can and will be treated like accessories for contractors to play with. Does the Board of Public Works advocate for the residents of Bloomington or just contractors? This appeared to be against the wishes of Engineering staff- where was this passion to approve when it came to the Bloomington monument a couple of years back that they continued to deny with no justification??

So my name is Jeremiah Jackson. I have been a Monroe county resident almost all my life. I have reported some things to the Bloomington police department and to two news agencies about officer misconduct and abuse of power. I can’t seem to get anything done in this regard. I’m writing to see if I can get a moment of your time? I’d really appreciate it if you or someone in your office would take the time to have a discussion, it involves misuse of power and my request for a restraining order and protective order and the fact these individuals are still stalking me and harassing me. Thank you very much for your time. His name is Jeremy m ayres, possibly Shawn Riggs. And they claim they are an officer named Chris Scott but my attorney has done checked into that. They do not have a warrant or court order. So there harassment is not legal by any means . It isn’t surveillance or an investigation it is blatantly harassment.
