On 12/3/15, I parked at a meter on Kirkwood in front of the library. I used my debit card and wanted to pay for three hours of parking. The meter would only give me one hour; it did not give me the option to add more time the way most of the meters do. I had to insert my card three times in order to get the desired amount of time, but I see that I was charged the 30 cent convenience fee each time. The parking meter on the east side of College at the NE corner of 6th and College has a blank creek and appears to be dead.

There are multiple cars parking in spaces that are in yellow, in front of fire hydrants, and in front of and blocking driveways. Please ticket cars on Smith inbetween Grant and Lincoln. It has never really been supervised but is particularly out of hand right now. I could barely see my driveway let alone access it because there was a car almost in front of it and then when looking at my neighbors driveway, realized that a car was parked completely in front of it. Also a car has been parked in front of a fire hydrant at the corner of grant and smith for the whole weekend.

I rec'd a parking ticket today and I want you to know why. I am not appealing it. First time users are at a loss when using the credit card. there should be easy to follow prompts on the screen, and posted somewhere close instructions as to how to use it. I thought I had 3 hrs, turned out I didn't. Procedures should be clear enough that this doesn't happen.

I couldn't find a parking meter heading, so I chose parking permits. Please forwar to the appropriate department. On two separate occasions, I have put quarters in the parking meter totaling $1.50. Meters #76105 and #7621. On each occasion, the meter did not increase my paid time. I had to pay with a credit card which adds an additional fee and makes me pay at least $1. This is frustrating.

I REPORTED A MALFUNCTIONING PARKING METER AT ZONE7683, METER#SCOL107A. I DEPOSITED $2.00 IN THE METER AND IT DID NOT CREDIT ME ANY TIME AT ALL. I MOVED TO A DIFFERENT SPACE, TO AVOID GETTING A TICKET, AND HAPPENED TO RUN INTO THE METER LADY WHO GAVE ME THE NUMBER TO CALL TO REPORT THE METER. A METER TECH CAME RIGHT AWAY, AND REPAIRED THE METER, BUT COULD NOT REFUND MY $2.00. I UNDERSTAND THINGS BREAK, BUT IF I HAD NOT NOTICED THE MALFUNCTION, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A TICKET. IF I HAD NOT REPORTED IT SOMEONE ELSE COULD HAVE GOTTEN A TICKET. SO I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. QUARTERS WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE.
