Late model car parked in yellow zone on Maple at W 7th. Makes it impossible for two cars to go through at once. Also limits visibility for cars going North on Maple. This is also a place where a school bus turns every day. Car parks here all the time. Behind this car is a motorcycle under a tarp that has been parked for at least six months.
N Forrest Ave between E Cottage Grove Ave and E 11th. Multiple cars parked here on a daily basis where it says no parking. This is supposed to be a two lane road, but is not safely wide enough for traffic going both directions with cars parked here, and there is no where to move out of the way if two cars are traveling opposite directions on this road, causing a traffic hazard.
You have at least 1 or maybe 2 cars parked on the yellow curb. On 14th st between college and woodburn ave. Not really urgent except for the fact it shouldn't be there. Seems to be a problem a lot. Thanks
I am writing about the fact that there seem to be some cars that just use the 4th street garage as a storage place for their cars. The city suffers from not enough free parking downtown and the 4th street garage seems to be the place for people to store their trucks/automobiles for covered parking. I know for a fact that there is a very large white truck on the first floor of the garage that has just been sitting there for several days and hasn't moved. I don't even know if the truck has a monthly permit, but with free parking so scarce downtown, it would be nice if people would not be able to store their cars in that garage. I have poor Ivy Tech students who can't find any free parking during class time at the Waldron Arts Center and are pretty much forced to pay and extra $100 a semester just for street parking. Van at 4011 e morningsude drived has remained untagged and stationary for months now in our neighborhood just sitting in drive of unoccupied house. Crime risk. Please address.
I would like to politely request that that HVAC in the skywalk from the 4th Street parking garage to Fountain Square Mall be repaired. It is fast becoming a tropical sauna experience to walk through there. Thank you, Nels Boerner
There is a trailer parked on the city street one block off Winslow Rd on Westminster Way.
This car has been parked in front of 715 West 13th Street for over a week. Several of its tires are flat. It has not moved. Neighbors do not know whose car it is. It appears to have been abandoned here. Can you please tow it? It is right in front of my house where I usually park.
Over the past several weeks (months?), it seems that more often than not the access control arms to the Morton St. parking garage have been open allowing free parking. This is great for those who don't have a permit, but it feels a little unfair to those of us who have a permit and continue to pay for parking. What's going on, how much longer is this anticipated to continue, and is there any recourse for permit holders? Thanks!
