Today at 1:18pm I was traveling north on Hawthorne and came upon someone from parking enforcement parking directly in the middle of the street, blocking traffic from both sides, as well as the 'neighborhood greenway' bike path, in order to (I assume) write a parked vehicle a ticket, despite there being available parking along the east side of the street (both in front of and behind the large silver SUV shown on the right hand side of the photo). The officer returned to the car and moved out of the way upon our approach (although not for the bicyclist that was ahead of us). While we didn't wait very long, I would think parking out of the way in the first place would be the preferred method for performing his duties, rather than blocking traffic to do so. Just a thought.

Hi, I live just East of Woodlawn, and everyday I notice cars that are parked on 13th and 14th Street that do not have parking permits. Almost everyday there is a car parked on 14th, that is inches from the intersection of 14th and Forrest, which makes it absolutely impossible to see whether there is a car coming. Along 13th, there is always a long line of cars parked that makes it very difficult to see oncoming traffic. It would be one thing if these cars were supposed to be parking here, but they are not. Most of them, I see park here in the morning and walk to class, because they live far away and have realized that you are not enforcing parking permits in this area due to construction. Most, if not all of the construction workers park in an the grass, so all of the other cars are not theirs. I (and everyone who lives around here) would really appreciate it if you could come check it out once in awhile. Thanks!

On 12/3/15, I parked at a meter on Kirkwood in front of the library. I used my debit card and wanted to pay for three hours of parking. The meter would only give me one hour; it did not give me the option to add more time the way most of the meters do. I had to insert my card three times in order to get the desired amount of time, but I see that I was charged the 30 cent convenience fee each time. 2 bikes have been abandoned for many weeks at the bike corral in front of Trojan Horse. One is purplish, and the other is aqua with white wheels. Both are starting to show signs of being abandoned rather than just parked a long time.

This car has been parked in front of 715 West 13th Street for over a week. Several of its tires are flat. It has not moved. Neighbors do not know whose car it is. It appears to have been abandoned here. Can you please tow it? It is right in front of my house where I usually park.
