Y'all must be union workers because i'm sure you're getting paid but I don't see much work getting done. 2 years. 2 YEARS the sidewalk here has been cracked and broken up in large chunks. T-W-O Y-E-A-R-S. And I know you mfs know about it too. Which means obviously y'all don't give one shit about any neighborhood that isn't next to IU or on the eastside, aka the places you let shoot their load all over you because money and classism. You obviously don't give one shit about disabled or elderly as this has been a hazard for over--remember? 2 YEARS. Not like someone can just walk across the street to use the other sidewalk across Kinser because there isn't one derp.
So maybe try a bit harder. Just a bit. Maybe act like you actually give a shit about this city. Or at least do your damn job

Hello,
I am contacting the city to express my concern regarding the children of a neighbor in my area. They have two young toddlers who are often left outside unsupervised and I fear for their safety. My other neighbor has told me she often sees them playing in the street and has to tell them to come back to the sidewalk. I often hear them screaming at the top of their lungs for hours on end. The two kids have knocked and rang the doorbell of every person in my building and have come onto our private patios to damage our personal belongings. Any time I see them outside, I look for their parents, but can't seem to find them. I am truly worried for their safety and fear they could get hurt, especially if they're playing in the street. The address listed (1839 S Oakdale Dr) belongs to the parents of these kids. I'm reaching out to the city to make them aware of this situation. I am making this report anonymously.

A resident reached out to us via Facebook about this handicap on-street parking space that was blocked by plowed snow at the southwest corner of the square, on College Ave. at the intersection of Kirkwood Ave. on Saturday evening, January 26. The snow is likely melted by now but I am reporting this issue for the sake that it be logged.

There needs to be 1 or 2 streetlights put it on east 12th street between Grant street and North Walnut. It is especially dark in between Lincoln and Washington street and at night you cannot see the sidewalk at all. Most people living on E12th street are students, many of whom have night classes ending as late as 9 or 10pm. My roommates and I specifically have classes ending at 8:30 and 9 when the streets are too dark to see anything. With the current atmosphere in Bloomington, many residents of 12th street feel unsafe walking home from class, work, or to their neighbors. Installing A street lamp or two would greatly improve the safety and comfort of people living on E 12th street. The attached photo shows just how dark the sidewalk is with out a flash light at night. No one should have to feel afraid of walking down their own street at 8pm and the addition of street lamps on E12th street can help fix this.

Sidewalks alongside both sides of the Bypass have large rocks that have fallen onto the sidewalk. Difficult to bike through.

Hello,
At 7:30am, someone began jack-hammering the sidewalk immediately outside my apartment window at 222 N College Ave. There are several apartments facing that sidewalk at this location, and it is directly across the street from the Hilton Hotel. In other words, since many people may be trying to sleep in this area, it seems a bit unreasonable to start something so loud before 8am.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Kristen Strandberg

Terrific on the new low income sidewalk program. But residents other than property owners use them too. Please have any owner, low income or not, fix the red poor condition sidewalks. Plus there are low income families in other zones so unfortunate that they can't participate. Wouldn't it make more sense to prioritize the worst and busiest sidewalks and fix them systematically instead of by piecemeal application? An amazing sidewalk system that is kept as nice as you all do the roads would be great. Thank you for continuing your work on multiple good transportation options.
