I am writing to complain about the contractor who is doing the work near the old Catalent building. My new Grand Highlander took a chunk of mud or rock to the window this evening. It appears that the contractor did not sweep the street after their work. The impact was significant enough that glass shards came into the cabin. This is a major safety issue.
New culvert was placed last week. Asphalt has already settled leaving a very large dip/bump in the road. Please fix before asphalt plants close for season.
Busted concrete block in the street On SR corner of Lincoln/Dodds. In its current state it is dangerous to cars, to hikes, and to pedestrians. Either take care of it or remove it.

Temporary patch of pot holes from a few years ago has broken up into gravel and gets picked up by snow shovels and pushed into my front yard when it snows. This causes damage to the yard and needed spring repair. Would appreciate a permanent repair or have the gravel swept up. ears ago
I reported this sign being down a while ago after some storms came through and the case was closed/marked complete. The street sign was removed, and it hasn’t ever been reinstalled. Will it be reinstalled?
Stop sign missing intersection of Swain Ave. and E 2nd Street. Northbound lane
Commissioner at Transportation Commission meeting on 9/28/2026 requested analysis of street lighting at the intersection of E Covenanter Dr and College Mall Rd. They complained that street lighting on the west side of the intersection is insufficient for safe pedestrian utilization of the intersection. Drivers heading north on College Mall turning left onto Covenanter, and drivers headed east from Covenanter turning right onto College Mall have a difficult time seeing pedestrians in the crosswalk at night or in low-light conditions. Currently there is a street light on the north east corner of the intersection (Location 965 S College Mall Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401 (39.1553, -86.4976)); however, the light does not appear like it was installed to illuminate the corner of the crosswalk in question. The existing light is not impacted by overgrown vegetation. In terms of follow up on this item, if there is any action staff can take on it, I would like to document staff response and the process via uReport and a staff report at a future commission meeting.
