Ms Kim left a voice message this morning. I returned her call this afternoon and she explained she is concerned with the runoff in their back yard. Their neighbor put logs along their back yard and it pushes the runoff over into her back yard. She wants to know if they can do this. I told her this is probably an issue between the neighbors but I would be happy to come out and look at it.

The culvert where the creek from "The Fields" crosses under Moores Pike is beginning to fail. The shoulder plus a few inches into the roadway on the south side of the street is beginning to collapse. Past efforts to shore up the roadway have involved dumping rip-rap to prevent undercutting of the roadway but this might be more serious. I noticed this in the evening and could not get a decent photo.

My name is Lauren, I am the Facilities Manager at Middle Way House. At 6 am this morning- all of our parking spots on Washington (between 3rd and Smith) were blocked off. The grate cover of a drain in a parking lot here had fallen into the drain. The drain is located inside an HOA called Madison Park. We got the cover out and reinstalled it, but it is bent and needs to be replaced. Would this be a City responsibility or the responsibility of the HOA? Thank you for your help!

There's a run off in our back yard the pools up with water whenever it rains and it typically takes days for the water to subside. We have deer and ducks that often stop by to take a dip in our back yard :-) This standing water concerns me for mosquitos and others pests. Additionally, the sitting water has started to erode the dirt around the concrete to the point to where I can no longer mow around the area. To the best of my knowledge this is not our property and I wonder if the city maintains these run offs. Is this something that the city can take care of? Thank you for your time.
