There is a pine tree on the S.W. corner that totally blocks vision when going east on first.
sidewalk is blocked along this stretch in a few places by overgrown bushes and ornamental grass. on the corner, the bushes are the responsibility of whoever owns the utility boxes they hide, along the road it's the houses behind the hedge.
Sidewalk along Landmark has no curb ramp on one end for wheelchairs and power chairs to get on and off. And on the other end which was just redone really has no curb ramp either. You might be able to drive an RC car on it that how narrow the flat spot is. You cant drive a chair up on it because its not flat. People in wheelchairs and Powerchairs are avoiding this and going the wrong way down the street towards 3rd in a blind curve. Its only a matter of time before a car rounds that blind curve to find a wheel chair user in the lane also heading towards them. We just had a girl stuck out there today trying to get on the sidewalk but couldn't. Somebody is gonna get hit. Please let us know how we can help you help this matter. Best Wishes, Kevin. The light at 2nd and Patterson needs a longer left turn signal, going from Patterson onto 2nd street. The time of the turn light is way too short. This has been a problem for years. I was the 6th car back in the turn line this morning and had to wait THREE LIGHT CYCLES to even make it through. Please make it a turn signal longer. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overhanging branches from a tree. They hang so low that they strike cars.
Westbound traffic on E Hillside congests at the S Walnut and E Hillside traffic light, which often causes backups and results in traffic blocking the E Hillside and S Washington intersection. Can there be a “do not block intersection” or one of the roadway painted Xs placed at that intersection? This has happened to me numerous times, and I get frustrated and honk, and E Hillside drivers either ignore me, or give me a mean look like this was my fault when they’re blocking the roadway.
Overnight Road Construction at 2nd and Rogers is extremely disruptive to neighbors. Large machinery (jackhammers, trucks with very loud backup signals, etc.) can be heard all hours of the night (most notably around 2:45 am this morning). When there has been construction near Hopewell in the past, the construction team saved "noisy" activities for daylight hours. For whatever reason, that has not been the case for the past week or so.
Drivers are going too fast here and sometimes not seeing the stop signs, specifically going north on mitchell. I have witnessed two collisions and this calls for improved visibility of the stop sign or some other form of traffic calming. Many people, including kids, bike through this intersection and are vulnerable.
This curb and drain is improperly placed. In order to turn right out of Bittner Woods, you have to drive into the other lane of traffic (headed to the Sare rd load) to avoid running into the land. You’ll see how dug out it is that many people try to avoid driving into the other lane of traffic but then bottom out. This past Wednesday morning I also saw the Bloomington Trash truck exiting in the neighborhood in the entrance lane, I assume to avoid the same issue. We would appreciate if the curb and drain could be reworked to allow a safer exit from the neighborhood. Thank you!
Vehicles driving east on Grimes often stop in the middle of the road (rather than in their "lane") at the stop sign at Woodlawn. This makes it impossible to turn onto Grimes from Woodlawn until they have moved on, leading to difficult and unpredictable traffic situations. Would it be possible to put a center line here on Grimes, just for the intersection and the approach to it? To encourage drivers on Grimes to be in their lane when they stop at the intersection.
