This is Rebekah Deckard responding to the email on people making it difficult for me to get in vehicles of those who come to pick me up to go places to not only being physically disabled but legally blind. I attempted to reply to the email on there being a parking pad cancaretakers (I have help besides caretakers. Ex: rides to church) not pick me up there. I am certain I stated how all park in the front to the house being on the corner intersecting with two roads it is on a slope/ hill. So the driveway is very difficult for me. When some have parked there (to my front entrance of sidewalk very close to it being blocked basically) the door of the passenger side I am in almost shuts on my leg. I am also 4'10" so this makes things more difficult to most do not have smaller lower sitting vehicles I can just step out of.. in fact sometimes I must use a step stool type device to get into the vehicle. As well as the steps to enter the back pose a risk of my falling. I request others not use the back entrance to the storm door is off balance so it does not close properly. Despite maintenance trying to remedy this. Again, I was certain I stated why I do not use the entrance with the driveway in my original contact. As stated already as well, I tried to reply to the email on thisbonnthe 22. It was returned to me.ni have had medical appointments the past two days so had no time to be online much. Barriers blocking sidewalk in violation of ADA accessibility standards
Hi, I work in a commercial building at 800 S College. Our building was recently sold to Storage Express and they have proven to be negligent in terms of snow removal. They have failed to clear our whole lot these past two weeks (leaving not enough cleared spaces for our business needs) and I have now had to twice dig out our one handicapped parking space by hand. We have addressed this with them in person and they were not responsive to our concerns. We are responsible for clearing our immediate walkway, but they are responsible for lot clearing and maintenance as per our lease. Our building is almost entirely service professions (massage, salon, barbers), and we have many older clients and folks with mobility issues and it is becoming a safety hazard. I am aware HAND handles residential citations, but am unaware of the proper channel (if any) for commercial properties. Would gladly accept any assistance. Thanks so much!
Both sides of the sidewalk on 17th street are being blocked off for fiber internet installation causing wheelchairs to have to walk in the road. A violation of the ADA and a safety risk for city residents in general.
Kilroys blocking sidewalk. Maybe 20” clear. This has happened multiple times before. Fine them. Let me know what happens. 4/4/24 : Added a dividing line to the sidewalk and notifed KOK staff. Nothing should cross over the line. Line will be managed by COB.

On the north side of West Second Street, just west of the B Line, large stones have fallen off an adjacent wall and are blocking the sidewalk.
Just today, I noticed a 4, maybe 5 year old ridding his/her bike down 10th St., and the parents walking along seemed 'forced' to help child off bike, then "lift" bike onto sidewalk. As I use a walker, and to gain access to the BT 'stop'. I feel it best someone contact the BHA (Barrington Homeowners Association and enforce city laws of/for which they claimed to be "exempt" from, although I very much disagree. I consider this/them to be a well justified part of the City of Bloomington. IF asked/requested, I will take a picture of possible curb-cut or ramp sites.
