The storm drains have been very clogged on the 500 block of south Woodlawn well before the cicadas and excessive rainfall. These need to be cleared to prevent cars from hydroplaning in standing water and “sidewalk tsunamis” that hit pedestrians when a car passes. Thank you.

The trash and recycling bins were on the sidewalk in front of the house this evening (Thursday). Since the bins were full and their trash day is Monday, I suspect the bins were placed out 4 days early.

Can't zone in on the location. It's the north-south alley running from Atwater to Hunter, just east of the Subway on Atwater, right before 914 Atwater, about halfway down. Where the pavement turns to gravel, there is a bad drop-off that could do real damage if a driver didn't see it (under snow or in the dark).
