In connection with uReport Case #178466, I now request that the intersection of Fairview and 13th Street be converted into a four way stop. If BPD is unable to enforce traffic laws due to staffing issues while there is an identifiable problem that causes citizens to fear for the safety of their body as well as their personal property, then there needs to be more constraints on the ability for people to get up to high speed on a residential street. Thank you.

Hello. There is a problem with reckless driving in the Maple Heights neighborhood. I experience it on my daily walks on Fairview, 11th, Maple, 13th, Jackson, Rogers, etc... I see it and hear it throughout my day specifically on 13th street both west and east directions and Fairview both north and south directions. Frequently, it is a vehicle speeding north on Fairview, then turning east on 13th street. Then just a few minutes later the same car speeds in the reverse directions. Is this some sort of a methamphetamine pickup? I don't know. But it is regular, has been a regular occurrence, and I am tired of it. The worst regular occurrence are negligent, selfish motorists traveling at very high speeds from the east on 13th street heading west to Maple. I was taking in the recycling bin last night and could not believe the speed at which someone drove past me. This is not safe. There is a special needs adolescent in the neighborhood who sometimes dances around in the street. There are children that play and should have every right to play without cars traveling at high speeds past them. This is incredibly dangerous driving in a residential neighborhood and I would appreciate it if the police could enforce the traffic laws prior to their being property damage and/or personal injury. Just at the west end of the railing on the new sidewalk on W 14th street, there are two of those large, orange barrels you might see at a construction site. They've been there for a week or two at least. Would somebody come and pick them up? Thank you!

There is a white car that has not moved in a very long time. Vegetation has been growing up and around it making it a very appealing place for vermin. Thanks.
