I recently purchased a house in Bloomington and have noticed that I have a spot in my yard that is saturated with water. Even when we don't get rain for weeks the grass is still socking wet. I am not sure if this could be a possible leaking pipe in the ground. The only effected area seems to be about a 5 square foot area on the right side of my house.
The Street light on the west side of S Dunn St. in between Smith and 2nd is out. The area is very dark without it.
We replaced counter tops and sink in remodeling our kitchen. I can haul the old formica counter tops to the dump...or wherever...where do I go? I am assuming there is a charge by weight of the refuse. Thanks, jim
Northwood Estates, a deep pot hole east of the 1st set 1st of mailboxes on W Rosewood Dr.
At Kinser Pike and Club House Rd there is a large dead tree limb that hangs over Kinser Pike.
There is a dog which appears to be in need of food and water - pacing inside a fence on the east side of S. Henderson St. between Thornton and Moody. The dog has been doing it for several hours. Thank you.
The street repair jobs done on Hillside after the construction work this week at the intersection of Clifton is not holding up. It's been gradually sinking into the ground over the last four days with all the traffic going over it. It will likely start causing damage within the next few days if it isn't addressed soon. There's another patch that was part of that same effort at the intersection of Nancy, but it's not quite as bad. But I would suspect it will need addressing shortly thereafter since it also shows signs of settling.
I live on a dead end street (3928 W Geranium Ln) and we have cars come flying down our street thinking they can access the main road. There are children on this street and it is becoming an issue as the neighborhood has increased in size so much the past two years. Please consider installing a "Dead End" sign on this street! Thank you!
Subsiding (Vectren?) utility cut on the south side near the east end of E First Street near the intersection with Jordan.
