Abandoned small black SUV. Blocking snow removal and snow plow. Near entrance. Doesn’t look like been moved since before summer.
Overgrowth along both sides of the Polly Grimshaw Trail.
There is poison hemlock growing along both sides of the trail from Pete Ellis east to beyond the pool at The Crossing. There is also poison hemlock sprouting on the dirt slope going down from Pete Ellis to the tennis courts of The Crossing where they cleared out a homeless encampment last year. I'm not sure if this is public or private land.
Edges of paved trail continue to crumble, making trail narrower and narrower in spots. Two-way use is becoming challenging when combined with plants life on other side. Also, Trail has a large sunken area with uneven surface on west end near bypass, tricky for anything wheeled no navigate. Please repair or replace as needed in honor of a fine Librarian and for those that use it, thanks.
the trail could really use some love. it's way overgrown. the north edge of the pavement is crumbling towards the center. the south edge is disappearing under soil. substantial cracks and dips, kinda like sinkholes. please help make this trail a safe way to connect neighborhoods and commerce, thanks
Shrubs, weeds, brush and small trees have been cut down by someone and not removed, this area has also been sprayed with some type of Herbicide, that killed a lot of the grass, etc. In addition this trail was sprayed without any warning to the general public! Grass is being mowed along the trail without any attempt to clean up the mess made by whoever sprayed and cut the brush. This all needs to be cleaned up.
Several scooter riders are riding the scooters in the dismount zone along the north side of Kirkwood Avenue between Indiana and Dunn avenues. Increased (or any) enforcement of laws would be nice for a change.
There are ridges across the street opposite to Potbelly on Kirkwood that is hard to notice while riding downhill westward on my bike. I'm surprised that I haven't fallen off my bike yet. I've had a few close calls though
Parking meter 7615 on Kirkwood had a coin stuck in it. The light was yellow, but it was the only open spot. I thought the 25 minutes remaining would be enough. When my order took longer than expected at Nick’s, I ran back out and was forced to use a credit card or risk a ticket. I didn’t need to pay for a full hour, nor did I want to pay the service fee when I had coins to use.
