Re: Communication about Boil Water Alert for 7th St., 9/6/21. I did not know that there was a boil water alert for my street until, by accident, I found out about it. I'm even signed up for alerts from Monroe County, but I never received one. If you're new to Btown or even if you're not and you've never encountered a boil water alert or even if you have--if you don't know about the Monroe Cty. alert system or if that doesn't work well (I couldn't even find the alert on the Co. website), or you can't manage digital stuff, there's no way you'd be prompted to check for an alert, and that could have serious health consequences. In this time of public health crises and awareness, that's critical. Please implement an effective communications system as soon as possible so that all residents are sure to be alerted and can protect their health. Thank you.

I have no idea why it took so long, BUT it is so nice to be able to walk the b-line over the bridge and around the area of grimes and Morton and feel safe with my little kids. 826 S Eastside Drive, cardboard boxes in yard, have been there for about 2 weeks. Monday was recycling. Not picked up, because they were not IN the recycling can. 1718 Circle Drive, trash pickup and recycling was Monday. Both cans still at the curb, plus 2 old chairs. These people need a friendly reminder that cans need to be removed from the curb within 24 hours after trash pick up has taken place. Week after week the cans are still sitting there days after pick up.

I had to call 911 for medical assistance for someone who was breathing, but appeared unconscious and was unresponsive. Around 10 min. later a police officer arrived for a well fare check and then he called for an ambulance. It ended up being more than 20 minutes after I'd called 911 that EMTs arrived. Why wouldn't they have sent an ambulance immediately? What I described to the dispatcher was a medical emergency. I understand that resources are tight, but I felt very frustrated and concerned for the unconscious person.

The sidewalk in front of 522 S. Park Avenue has consistently had broken glass over the last two weeks. It was partially cleaned but now more glass has appeared. This is a safety issue.
