these people are calling locally and telling people they are duke energy 800-691-0475 and saying that you are scheduled for disconnect and to call this number to pay the bill. i called and they have the duke energy recording all set up, but it is clearly not duke enegry! This FRAUD NEEDS TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY to prevent elderly from being scammed!

I live at the corner of 16th and Hancock . I have two points to address. the first, is thtat I talked with an individual last year involved with storm water just after the culvert at my corner had been replaced, and advised this had been a missed opportunity to upsize this culvert, and that I had witnessed overflow of the corner culvert in a number of storms. this past tuesday, August 9, 2022, we had about an hour of rain. Included are pictures of the overflow that lasted about 45 minutes after rain had ceased. My street has recently been repaved and i thought , perhaps a remedy might be included in this process, however, no. Additionally, thegravel shoulder that has been added to finalize this new repaving process has stopped short of my property, and the new asphalt topping was not tapered onto my asphalt driveway, even though they primed a sweep into my drive, indicating to me that bonding a transition had probaly originally been intended. Now i have a bump approaching the street that is collecting gravel from these overwash events. the North side of 16th between Monroe and Hancock has not had a gravel shoulder appliction. Is ther more work scheduled to complete the gravel shoulder. Unauthorized people ridding on city fire trucks.

Fire station 1, has an unauthorized personal ridding on the fire truck. This person rides with firefighters to call and hangs out on city fire trucks. This creates a safety hazard for other firefighters and for the general public.

There is a very dangerous joint in the sidewalk in Woodscrest in front of 2623 E. Windermere Woods Dr. We believe it is a city sidewalk since it is on a city street. Can the joint be shaved to even put the surfaces?

more photos Homeless have created several camping areas on the creek bed betw bypass 46 and cascades park. this creek is the sewage line. garbage includes tents, vacuum cleaners, ottomans, clothes, camping gear, toiletries, various other goods and products.

Please explain to me why after tons of studies and information at hand globally, this government still does not match the county in work hours. You are supposed to be a major employer, government, and body of change and you still require archaic schedules and work processes. I hope your administration begins to match the county in pay if you’re gonna keep working longer hours. No one in this town can afford to live and you make them work their whole lives away. Not to mention that your “living wage” does not match cost of living. Moving to this area was very eye opening as this administration over the past years has shown they’re not going to progress with modern times, even after tragedies, a pandemic, and rising vivid cases internally. Do better us citizens are expecting council to get it in gear and make this city a key employer.
