Two large dogs attacked my dog while walking thru the neighborhood. They would have kill my dog if I did act quickly. My another neighbor was walking with me if you need a witness. I am a resident of the apartment complex located at 1722 N Walnut Street. Over the past month, the lawn has been overgrown. I have given them an abundance amount of time to take care of this issue. However, it is to the point where the grass length has made it embarrassing to say I live here. In some areas, the grass is 24". This issue has become excessive and needs to be taken care of.
To the east of Somersbe, people are camping in an area owned by the railroad, city, & county so nobody is taking responsibility. Trash (see pic), car has been removed, trash remains, human waste, dog waste, unleashed dogs, & fires. March 6, 2024, I was chased on the trail by an unstable person from the camping area, screaming “I’m going to get you.” I had to RUN & hide at a residence/business and they helped me. I now carry pepper spray. Who do we appeal to for help? This is an unsafe situation for the people camping as well as the neighbors, and toxic to our environment. Thank you

Pot hole between 5th and 6th street
Unfortunately we are three weeks into the baseball season and the batting cages are still not setup at the Winslow Sports Complex. The kids have had no opportunity to practice batting, many of which are new to baseball and this is critical for getting them prepared for the first game and may impact their willingness to participate. Youth sports is such an important part of the community and having a good first experience is important. I would like to know what is causing the delay of the batting cage setup and when they are expected to be completed. Thank you.
A large group of my friends and I have red, painful chemical burns from the grass. I can still see imprints of individual blades of grass on my legs after 4 days. The chemicals used are far too strong and this is unacceptable for a public park where children play.
Winslow batting cages not ready for practice. It’s prime practice time and kids can’t get in the practice they need. Please help!
Charlestowne Manor Developer (Chuck Short) billed the neighborhood for $325 in 2023 and has since turned it over to a company to manage and they are only charging $250 in 2024 for dues. No one will not return our "over payment" or say where our money is going. This seems very suspicious from the developer. We cannot get any answers and need someone to look into this.
