Can some clarification on the recycling pickup suspension be provided? The press release indicated:
The city asks you store recyclables until service resumes or take them to one of the city’s recycling centers listed at www.gogreendistrict.com.
For customers that rely on public transportation or alternative means of transportation, taking the recycling materials to a center is not a viable option. If overflow recycling materials are placed into standard trash bins, will the recycling trucks pick these up when operations resume? Our household will likely not have room to store more than one week of material in our city supplied bin.

On September 27th, 2021 around 8:56 pm Bloomington transit bus 2 west was driving down graham street in-between Rockport and Rodgers by the Broadview learning center park near the west intersection at the rear of the building and park area. The bus side swiped the front and side of the passenger side of my vehicle that was parked out side of the house with the passenger side of the bus near the middle/rear half of the bus while going down graham street I attempted to wave down the bus but it continued going. I made a report with bloomington transit and also called bloomington police department to make a report I was informed the transit dispatch officer I had reported to made was making the report when I called in. My side mirror was pushed inward and also some scratches and chips in my front bumper area and turn signal where the point of contact took place.

Last week our recycling was no picked up, we followed all guidelines and saw that everyone else on our street also did not get theirs picked up either, now today they have not come by to pick anything up, I’m not sure if they’re just running late or if this will be a continuous problem

No problem here - I love the way the water's been for the past few weeks! It tastes like drinking out of the hose when I was a kid. Don't change a thing! It seems to be helping the plants, too.

At the following addresses, the clearance space above the sidewalk surface and the bottom of the tree canopy is quite a bit lower than the eight feet stipulated in Section 12.24.040(2) of Bloomington’s Municipal Code. The low bottom of the tree canopy at these addresses blocks the sidewalk and represents a safety hazard for pedestrians and runners. Could you please look into this issue? Thank you!
