My wife and I live at 515 W 3rd st, in Prospect Hill. I would like to request a simple upgrade to the functionality of the pedestrian signals at the S. Rogers st. and W. 3rd st. traffic interchange. I will reference the City of Chicago as a best practice. In Chicago, in almost every intersection with a traffic light, all pedestrian signals utilize the following sequence: a) When the light turns green, the white walk icon light actuates. b) When the pedestrian signal reaches the 30 second level (sometimes more or less than 30 seconds, depending on the overall duration of the light), the white walk signal changes to a red blinking don't walk icon and countdown timer, which counts down the remaining walk time. c) When the timer reaches 0, the blinking light changes to a full red don't walk icon. This coincides with the traffic light turning yellow. d) This functionality is in place 24/7/365. This functionality provides crucially important situational information to both drivers and pedestrians on the status of the traffic light. This is especially important as we somewhat frequently witness incidents of road rage at this intersection, as an unintended consequence of the no right turn on red signage that has been placed at this intersection. I am generally supportive of the no right turn on red signs, but the signage has definitely created this new issue. Because this functionality already exists at this intersection (in some pedestrian signals, at some times of the day), there should not be any material cost to make this change. It will require a technician to modify the code in the microprocessor that controls the lights. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss further. Thank you. While l love the permeable pavers at Hopewell Commons, I feel they create an unsafe environment. The pavers cross Morton, making that area appear to be an extension of the park. It doesn't look like a road, so I fear park users, especially children, won't look for cars. I think warning signs or additional stop signs could increase safety

Hello B-tow.. Please stop IU from practicing Politics and power on poor people. I am brown single mother who lost her job at IU at 2019 and IU has been using me for their political agenda and my kids also. I have been divorced for almost 10 years now and they have got into my case and using me to practice republicans and democrats on me because I am poor and alone here with NO support they want me to do bad and sad things to others so they can keep me poor and sad all my life so they can use me for practice please make them stop... Hello-There are regularly cars blocking the bike lane on Washington between 4th and 3rd St's a bit after 6pm.I wonder if there's a way for the city to make it clear to ride share drivers and customers of DaVinci that this is illegal and that they cannot block the bike lane. When there are 3-4 cars parked in the bike lane here, it really is no longer a bike lane and instead is a pick up/drop off zone. "Sending people to patrol the area" is definitely not working.  Thanks!

Cover to my main H2O shutoff at the street apparently was buried by dirt when they installed the fiber box on the SW corner of my lot. Today I was Unable to locate cover without metal detector to keep the vegetation clear of it. I have a plumbing project coming up that I’ll need to shut off the water at the street this summer. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
