This Volkswagen Scirocco has been parked in front of 404 E 1st Street since Monday, December 1, 2024; it has not moved from the parking space. Please ticket it or have it towed away because my family and guests would like to park in front of my house when visiting. Sincerely, Elida C. Behar December 9, 2024
First Street between Rogers and College is open again. When will the #2 South route start using it?
Intersection of Walnut Street Pike and Rhorer. The north bound traffic light (going straight) is not functioning properly in recognizing when there is traffic so never turns green (unless there is a person in the left turn lane). This appears to have been happening at least since yesterday (12/9/24) morning
Someone called and left a message that the traffic signal at Indiana and Atwater was cycling incorrectly. It is not in sync with the pedestrian lights. It is telling pedestrians to walk on green lights.
For the Mayor's office: Can you please consider posting information somewhere besides Facebook? I should not need an account for that platform just to get information. Post it on the City website, or if you want social media, use something more open source like Bluesky. I appreciate the sharing of information, but wish it was in a different platform. Thank you.
At the address of 1125 E Hunter, the homeowner leaves trash and recycle bins blocking the sidewalk after pick up. This homeowner will leave the bins out all week and take trash to bin daily instead of taking bin back to property. These bins block the entire sidewalk at Hunter and Ballantine on the west side of the sidewalk.
I'm guessing someone from Parks and Rec chose the image for the parks web page. I'm hoping someone in the Parks department can find a winter photo of Bloomington or at least of Southern Indiana. I looked at the current image being used and thought to myself that's not Bloomington but I do want to go there, where ever that is and see that beautiful scenery myself. It didn't make me think "Wow! Bloomington has amazing open space and views!!" Come on Parks have some hometown pride! (please)
#199580 is the case number. It would not let me reply to the email from Rhea about our recycling bin. I do NOT want to pay extra for a smaller bin, but I would like to have the existing one repaired. Thanks.
The tennis courts at Bryan Park; the windscreen around the southern courts have become "undone" and are flapping in the wind; a real mess. Would someone please go there with a hand full of zip ties and correct the problem? Thank you. V/r, Mark
