The no truck signs at W. Allen and S. Fairview Streets are faded and less obvious to truck drivers unfamiliar with this restricted route. Some realize their mistake at the intersection of Allen and Rogers. Others mow down the stop sign and neighbor’s yard. The signs at Allen and Patterson were replaced a few years ago, but they ignore those too.
601 Maxwell Lane is a house zoned as a rental property but may be in violation of occupancy restrictions. The house consistently has 5 plus cars in the side driveway, on occasion blocking the alley that runs behind S Fess Ave. Garbage is consistently in front of the house, on the lawn and surrounding areas, and parties from the house leave garbage along the alley and on nearby property. At present, there is broken glass in the driveway/alleyway where cars enter the alley from Maxwell Lane, which was presumably broken during a party last evening (with noise complaints filed by neighbors).
I live on South Sussex Drive. We had two posted signs per yard telling us not to park in the street for 10 days from Oct. 21 thru Oct. 31. We were given less than 24 hours notice. We complied with that 10 day request which is now over. I am not at all clear what work was done, or why we could not park in the street? A little communication to the residents on this street would be nice. Thank you.
Construction site on the north side of 17th at Washington keeps leaving their gate open, blocking the sidepath for hours or days at a time
12:05 pm 9/14/2025 A scooter was left on the sidewalk on northeast corner of Washington and sixth blocking the curb cut for both 6th and Washington.
There is a restaurant named la Bodega right next to healing hands thrift store that has tree like landscaping on the walkways. They are basically blocking the sidewalks. One is on the ramp which makes it even more difficult for those with disabilities. I tried to remedy by discussing it with the restaurant but it seemed with they did not care or did not understand the problem with it.

I am interested in completing your survey on possible alternatives to the current traffic configuration on Walnut and College but I cannot get it to load properly. I’ve tried on a couple of computers without success, and some friends have similar stories. Please consider changing the survey, maybe with smaller files and more text descriptions, so it can load more easily. Recently I found out that a house was sold next door to my sister's home at 700 Parkway South in Bloominton. This home is being used as a half way house. It is in a resendental neighborhood. What is the rules concerning having such an establishment next door? Are you suppossed to be notified?
