I’m reaching out regarding our driveway connecting to the street. The surface is extremely rough and there is a pretty big gap. It has gotten bad enough to the point it’s damaging the front bumper of my car when I back out. If someone could come out and take a look to repair it, that would be amazing. Thank you
We are on a cul-de-sac. Every snow, the snow is piled at our driveway entry. Fortunately, when shoveling our driveway, a snowplow came and removed snow from half of the entry at my request. However, I think all the snow from our street is piled between our drive and the neighbor drive. Pile is about 5 ft high. It also covers half of our drive. Can that snow be removed? Or do we have to wait until it melts? I'm afraid it will overwhelm the street drainage. Not angry about it, just asking.
Just a heads up. East Dodds is in need of repaving. I have lived here for 46 years and can only recall it being paved one time. And then it was not the whole street. Patching is not holding because the street is crumbling. It is particularly severe on intersecting street on the south of Dodds. And after this winter I can only imagine how bad it will be. Thank you.
College crowd repeatedly used the ice rink as a stationary hangout. Photos are available. I complained twice to staff due to having young first time skaters with me needing the rail. The rink already was a busy night. First time they made an announcement. Second time they said they couldn't do anything about it. Please do better. Kids ice skating for the first time, and paying for it, take precedent over young adults standing and taking selfies please.
Street light is not working & glass in light is painted over on 2 sides
Snow plowed up 3or 4 feet high from snow plows blocking the sidewalk at this corner. It my understanding that this section of sidewalk (handicap ramp) is the responsibility of the City of Bloomington, this was told to me by the City of Bloomington. The snow has been here since 25 January.
Hello -- you closed my case (208109) without looking at the situation. USPS won’t deliver our mail because there is too much snow in the STREET in front of the mailbox. I don't believe that I am responsible for clearing a PUBLIC STREET. The city moved a large amount of snow and placed it in front of my mailbox and is now blocking access to my mailbox. Why can't the city fix the problem they caused? Can you please reconsider this? Thanks!
