There are several streetlights out on this block, like 6 of them. We are not sure if they are city-maintained or private. They look like the same kind as all of the city ones, not sure if that matters
The stormwater pipes that go under the railroad are once again blocked up. Along the B-Line Trail, across from lamppost 157.

The drain coming up to my garage floor is backed up and flooding with the recent rain. I have the drain cleaned out now, but the water is still at surface level.

Black flakes in my water that leave a greasy residue. I last reported this issue on March 16, 2026. The issue is not consistent but seems to pop up randomly which makes it a threat as it is easy not to notice when I am potentially showering with it, washing with it, and even drinking it. On Monday evening (4 May, ~10:30pm), we watched an East Asian-looking male tenant at this address use a City trash bin to transport trash from his residence down the street for three blocks, where he transferred it into the dumpster at 800 N. Grant. He made at least four trips, each time with the trash bin piled high with trash bags. The next day, this was reported to the property manager at 800 N. Grant (Pavilion), who said need evidence to move forward. We are wondering if this should have been reported to the police at the time or if instead a report to HAND is advised or if just contacting the property owner is sufficient or if photos should have been taken at the time. This is something that happens fairly often with dumpsters in the area. Seems like a form of trespassing.
The utilities department is doing a pipe installation out front of my property. They have marked the utilities previously, but the mowers mowed over the gas flags, so they no longer are there. Before the project begins, they will have to be marked as well as the waterline on my property. I have reported this previously but the man who closed this said I would have to amend the address to get this completed. I am reporting this under this report so please get the areas marked before you dig. I tried to get an 811 ticket but they said Utilities had already had a ticket which is not correct reporting. Please do not dig before you remark the area because the front yard by the street is filled with gas and water lines. The address of 2414 east fifth is the correct one I tried to report under the Ureport but the report incorrectly reported a different address so please get the correct one and complete the marking.
