Asphalt debris next to the drain and also on the sidewalk. Thank you.
Asphalt debris next to the drain and also on the sidewalk. Thank you.
Rental house (too many renters) across the street from us facing Sare Road (right by Spicewood II sign) has a large sectional that has been sitting in driveway for a month. This is a nice neighborhood not accustomed to seeing debris sitting in driveways. There is also a large box truck that is continually parked on the grass. This is what happens when rentals are not inspected….the decks are falling off & the gutters are drooping…totally unacceptable. Thank you for checking on this situation. Please get back to me. Garbage and debris all over the property and it's left there for days to blow into neighboring yards. City Bus shelter littered with garbage every day which collects overnight when the busses aren't running. Homeless citizens use the bus shelter as a living room from 4pm till midnight or later dropping garbage and causing noise disturbances. The free food cabinet in front of the property is a great idea, but canned food bakes in the direct afternoon sun every day which is a health hazard.
Sidewalk at the southwest corner of Queens Way and Montclair is covered in a thick layer of sand and gravel. Can this be swept up please?
Construction workers from the path project here along Montclair near Southeast Park entrance left lots of debris behind along the sidewalk. They're long gone and didn't attempt to clean any of this up.
Our recycling did not get picked up along with at least one other can on Jackson Street. Also this is the can that did get picked up blocking the alley next to my house where I park. I have observed trash pick up on Jackson Street for about 40 years. The cans were always put back where they were left for 39 years. But this year the cans are left in the street, blocking alleys and thrown down where they land. This in not considerate and it not how the trash has been handled in the past. It is not acceptable service. I have complained to Adam Wason to no avail. I really do not think this is too much to ask. The other end of the alley was also blocked by a trash can sitting right in the middle and people park on the alleys and use them for transportation. At least we can drive around the cans that are left in Jackson Street but the morning after trash day, it looks like a tornado has gone through and scattered cans everywhere. Is this what we should expect and accept from our city services these days? I hate to complain and I was waiting for this to get better but it has not improved at all.... Chris Sturbaum
The person living here stores trash and construction material on the porch and in the front yard.
There are 3-4 grocery carts full of what seems to be the belongings of an unhoused person that have been discarded at the end of Madison. They have been there untouched for 3 days now. The neighborhood would appreciate if they were removed soon. Thank you!
I am a storm drain volunteer for the Utility Department for Sussex Drive and Queensway from High St to Montclair and have been tracking broken asphalt pavement that might enter or block the storm drains and storm sewers by collecting broken pavement. I have collected a second load of broken pavement that is on the east/mail box side of my driveway at 2305 Sussex Dr. The pile weighs about 134 ponds could a City Street crew pick up the pile for recycling and reuse?
