In the location of the pin above, I found where someone had dumped around a gallon of motor oil into the ditch. I used paper towels and toilet paper to clean up most of it, but a little remains. I figured you may want to look and didnt know whether you keep track of these things. Thank you.
This flows into the pipe in my yard that causes the drain to swirl . Causing the ground next to my house to be cut back . I need this fixed or I’ll report it to the mayor and city Attorney. Just put some rip rap in.
The storm drain in front of my house clogs repeatedly. This is the storm drain on the south side of the street. Please replace the old storm drain grill with a more modern one like the one across the street. Today the water was backed up so high that it took me 5 minutes of work just to find the grill so that I could clear it.

Snow plows bury the one drain for our whole street! After more critical issues are handled right now, can the one outside of our house be cleared so flooding when the snow melts doesn't become a major issue? Thank you!
On the south side of Winslow at the west side of Piccadilly there has been progressive erosion where the drain pipe goes under Piccadilly. Whenever we get a strong rain for five or ten minutes the ditch backs up on the east side of Piccadilly and does not flow freely under the road. The erosion mentioned has noticeably progressed this year and if left unabated the road will eventually be at risk of breaking at its edge. Also, be aware that the heavy rains flood the east side ditch and form a pool over the sidewalk which also spills out onto Winslow. We can see this from our home. The heavy rainfall today has resulted again in flash flooding our backyard. The beehive drain in the City's drainage easement within the Brigs Bend cul de sac in Hyde Park is deteriorating around and above the drain structure, with large sink holes with active water flowing in the ground. There is another sink hole developing to the east of the drain with active water flowing below ground. We believe the storm pipe(s) may be compromised in some way that causes flash flooding to occur, over-filling the north and east swales that subsequently fills our back and side yard with flood water within seconds. We have videos of the drain after the storm today showing water draining through these holes in the ground. We believe this is a dangerous situation, particularly with the transformer at the top of the drain open to the large sink hole. This is at 2737 E Brigs Bend and 2712 Olcott.
in the back end of our property we have a storm Storm pipe set up between me and my neighbor. This past weekend we had a storm where the pipe was pushing out alot of water causing it to cave in the ground and crowding the sides of the channel. It has been causing the sides to collapse and making the channel wider taking from the land. I placed some rocks to keep the storm water from damaging the channel last year. yet We will need to add some extra rocks to hold it in place since it can't withstand the pressure as shown in the attached image. Storm drain at the noted location and the one across it are clogged with branches and debris. There is also debris from road paving (asphalt) next to it.
A large storm sewer grate has been removed and apparently thrown down into the hole created. It appears to be vandalism. We have placed 2 saw horses on either side as a temporary warning. It is unsafe and needs to be addressed no later than Monday morning.
