Last year, we had city crews working on the sidewalk hazards, which were not yet completed (the section of the sidewalk connected to the driveway has sunken, which was not the case before.
Each time we drive in or out, the vehicle experiences significant vibrations. A city manager previously visited and advised us that repairs should be completed before winter; however, this was not addressed at the time (I understand everyone has been busy). Since then, the issue has worsened and now requires immediate attention.
I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.

I have made multiple complaints about cars parking over the yellow lines at my driving which causes a dangerous hazard when leaving my driveway. Can you please repaint the yellow lines as they have disappeared; this may help relieve the illegal parking problem.
Thank you,

Sherwood Oaks neighborhood needs a visit from a street sweeper. There are still many leaves, mostly turned to dirt by now, in all of the curbs. These frequently wash into the road during larger rain events (see Westminster).

Someone could easily fall into that hole and get seriously hurt. Lots of children and elderly in this area, including those with special needs. In the evening the huge hole is invisible.

Was disappointed to see no improvements to the steps on the steep hill when the updates to the roundabout were made. Can we please consider updating these steps sometime? They are all different lengths and angles which makes them difficult, awkward, and dangerous to traverse. Plus, kids cannot ride their bikes down them if they wanted to ride their bike to school. They are not accessible for wheelchair users either.

A homeowner at 3430 S McDougal St, Bloomington, IN 47403 is regularly parking 3 pickup trucks on their front lawn instead of their driveway. Repeated vehicle traffic has destroyed the grass and created deep ruts and a large mud pit. Mud is being tracked into the roadway and the nearby storm drain. The vehicles also frequently block the sidewalk, requiring pedestrians to walk in the street.
Summary of concerns:
• Parking on unimproved surface: Multiple pickup trucks are regularly parked on the front lawn instead of a driveway or paved surface.
• Sidewalk accessibility concerns: Vehicles regularly drive across the sidewalk to access the lawn parking area. The repeated traffic has created a muddy area on the sidewalk that makes pedestrian passage difficult. I have personally observed pedestrians, including individuals using crutches and wheelchairs, needing to step into the street to get around the area.
• Stormwater / drainage concerns: Mud from the yard is being tracked into the street and a storm drain located along the curb.
• Sediment entering storm drain: The storm drain and surrounding curb area are frequently covered with mud and sediment.
• Potential utility concerns: Repeated vehicle traffic and soil compaction are occurring in an area where underground utilities may be located.
• Long-term issue: This situation has been occurring and progressively worsening for approximately five years as vehicles repeatedly park on the lawn and drive across the sidewalk.

The complaint is the lack of curb. Trucks from next door atrhe drywall company, the mail people, and cars in general cut the corner and drive into my yard all the time. Every year i am filling holes from tires with dirt. Can I request a curb?

Sidewalk along Landmark has no curb ramp on one end for wheelchairs and power chairs to get on and off. And on the other end which was just redone really has no curb ramp either. You might be able to drive an RC car on it that how narrow the flat spot is. You cant drive a chair up on it because its not flat. People in wheelchairs and Powerchairs are avoiding this and going the wrong way down the street towards 3rd in a blind curve. Its only a matter of time before a car rounds that blind curve to find a wheel chair user in the lane also heading towards them. We just had a girl stuck out there today trying to get on the sidewalk but couldn't. Somebody is gonna get hit. Please let us know how we can help you help this matter. Best Wishes, Kevin. The sidewalks on our street are dangerously raised. This issue was first reported about two years ago, and we also notified city crews in person when they were here for other work on our street. The sidewalks are used daily by children in our cul-de-sac, which makes this a serious safety concern.
Additionally, tree roots are growing under the sidewalks and into our front yard. Our lawn care provider even expressed concern that his equipment could be damaged by the exposed roots.
These issues require immediate attention from the city. Could you please let me know—via email or phone—how you intend to address this matter at your earliest convenience? Thank you for your prompt attention.
