At the S Highland / E 2nd St 4 way intersection I have within one week noticed four vehicles that have not obeyd the STOP signs on E 2nd street going east and west. Maybe the big tree in the north east corner needs to be trimmed a little? Or put up a pre warning sign of an upcoming four way STOP?
There has been a fence at this intersection built that if stopped @1st and turning onto Walker St you have to be atleast 2 car lengths past sign to see traffic coming to make turn safely. Please check this out. Not even sure they had permit.
Hired mechanics and car detailing staff working on cars in the driveway and on the side street. There were 3 trucks delivered for repair this week and parked in front of this house. Major car repair shop business going on for years and remains untouched by the city.
This car was driving super dangerously and illegally. They were stopped at the red light next to us, and just decided they did want to wait anymore and blasted through the light and nearly hit the car ahead. They kept swerving in between lanes, revving and tailing cars like two feet behind them. I’d keep an eye out for them.
concerning on the amount of drivers that don't realize the one way changes to a two-way. I live on the corner of eastside/atwater and I have seen numerous close calls.
Parking at the yellow line, driveway location. This is a dangerous situation when I drive onto 1st Street because I cannot see the incoming cars. Also, these cars block the trash cans for the Monday morning pickups. When turning right from S Highland Ave onto E Hillside Drive, vegetation on the left badly blocks the view of oncoming traffic on Hillside. You have to nose your car well out into the street to be able to see to the left and verify that it is safe to turn right onto Hillside. Please have that vegetation trimmed.
Tap Rd.,Country Club Dr.& Winslow Rd., speeding in residential neighborhoods. This has gotten worse since the summer. We have a orange Forb Mustang that lives or visits a friend at Fairview Apartments that is supper load & going super fast out of those apartments. They race down this road back & forth in the even when the traffic settles down from rush hours of 4-7pm.
I frequently drive through the intersection of Hillside and Henderson, often approaching it from the south (on Henderson). I hope the city can consider putting a "No Right on Red" sign there. This intersection has students from Templeton and South High School as pedestrians and cyclists (and from South as drivers). When you are turning right/east from Henderson onto Hillside, you do not have visibility until you have pulled forward into the crosswalk across Henderson. Because of the difficulty seeing if you have a clearing, I can imagine someone wanting to speed into a right turn...but it is a very populated corner with Feast there and apartments and Templeton close by, and pedestrians in the crosswalk could be at risk. I have counseled my daughter, who is learning to drive, not to try to turn right until the light turns green (and to wait to signal till then). If you have your turn signal on, people behind you can get impatient...a stressful situation for a new driver. And since there is a lot of traffic going to and from the high school, this intersection has a high concentration of new drivers. A friend of hers on a bike was hit last year at that intersection.
Red Ford 150 Truck with Indiana License Plate: TK1260XW always parked on the streets on the "No parking" side. Parked right in front of our driveway and hard to take our vehicle out, Obstruction to USPS delivery trucks, garbage trucks and snow trucks. They have 3 vehicles and a Boat. All 3 vehicles parked outside garage with 1 vehicle on street at all times.
