We are writing to report the poor condition of the gravel street in front of our property. On our very first day of moving in, one of our vehicles got a flat tire from the state of the roadway. We noticed a house (601 N. Monroe) in the neighborhood has a severely overgrown front yard and back yard. Lots of yard debris and very long grass and weeds. No one appears to live there currently so we are unable to politely suggest a cleanup in person.

The east alley running beside 417 East Cottage Grove Avenue (between 417 and 421 East Cottage Grove Avenue) is in need of repair. Asphalt is a preferred method of this repair (asphalt alley entirely from Cottage Grove Avenue to 11th Street). The gravel washes out on this alley due to its grade.
