When traveling northbound through this intersection, the traffic signal consistently takes an unusually long time to cycle. The apparent cause is that the southbound left-turn signal always activates first, even when there are no vehicles waiting to turn left from the southbound direction. This results in unnecessary delay for northbound traffic, as well as eastbound and westbound traffic, adding approximately 10 seconds to each signal cycle and creating congestion and inefficiency. It appears that the southbound left-turn phase may be activating without vehicle demand, possibly due to a malfunctioning or misconfigured sensor. In other nearby intersections, the left-turn phase only activates when a vehicle is detected. I would appreciate it if this signal timing and detection could be reviewed and adjusted so that the southbound left-turn phase only activates when vehicles are present. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Traffic signal hasn't been working properly for many months. Loop sensor for southbound S. High Street left turn arrow for left turn onto E. Moores Pike doesn't work so the signal cycles every few minutes to that left turn arrow regardless of whether or not there are any cars waiting. This then causes needless hold up of cars heading north on High Street and all traffic on Hillside/Moores Pike.
There is a history of this traffic light incorrectly perceiving a vehicle traveling south on High Street in the lefthand turn lane wishing to turn onto Eastbound Moores Pike. It's been reported and fixed at least once in the past, but the issue has returned and has been present for several months at least. The result is the left turn arrow coming on unnecessarily. This delays northbound traffic on High Street as there is often no southbound vehicle trying to make a left turn. (To drivers on northbound High Street, it appears as though all directions of the light are red simultaneously since there is no traffic flow.) Any help in fixing this would be appreciated by many. Thank you! :)
Pothole in northbound lane.
I wanted to report a pothole on the intersection with S High St and Greenbriar Ln. The pothole is located on the right side of Greenbriar Ln as you turn right on High Street. Thank you
