Bike parking infrastructure at SW corner of Lincoln and Kirkwood was removed for sidewalk work and has not been put back. It’s the best parking rack in the city; please replace it.

I would like to make known to you that I was a victim of racial profiling by one woman that works at the Bloomington Fire Department. This happened June 10 between 11:30 am to 12 noon at the Upper Cascades Lions Den shelter that she attended an event of Ivy Tech Community College. I was helping out and she asked me where I am from then I answered her I’m from Bloomington, then with an attitude asked me again where are you originally from? Me and my friend got caught off guard and answered her I’m from question.. Then she said that she was born and raised in New York then asked me why am I hear in Bloomington. It was so shocking to me that somebody approached me and my friend that way. Her name is Natalie and she was wearing a Bloomington Fire Department uniform. I hope this gets taken care off coz I’ve been serving I. This community for a long time and I have never experienced this in my life. I hope this will not fall on deaf ears. Thank you

Two trees growing into the north end of the alley between the 600 blocks of Summit and Monroe. They are impeding access by utility and commercial vehicles (dumpster delivery etc).

Hello, I’m writing to request assistance with picking up a tree that was downed on my property. I have already cut the tree into manageable pieces and placed the debris by the side of the road in front of my yard, ready for pickup. The address is: 1463 w eagleview dr bloomington indiana 47403 Please let me know if any additional steps are required or if there is a scheduled pickup day for this type of yard waste. Yellow "CBS" work safety coat lost and now hanging to be claimed on road construction sign by my home. 3449 E. Longview Ave. "Chambers" name is written on the back of the coat. Please retrieve. Not sure if it is a COB staff person's or one of the Greenway contractors. I told one of the contractor staff today where the coat is hanging but it was not retrieved.

I am a new homeowner and I have a question or two! I have two large sugar gum trees in the front of my house on the strip of grass in between the sidewalk and street. I was told that these trees are the city’s property not mine. I am concerned because I have to trim some on the larger branches that overhang my roof and also the roots are bowing the sidewalk out and pushing up the concrete in my basement. If I wanted to service these trees myself do I need a permit or does the city handle these things?
