Great work by the crews on the Clear Creek Trail this morning around 8-9am doing tree trimming. They were very respectful of trail users, making sure we could get through their work areas without major disruption, and they were doing a great job on a long overdue task of cutting back all of the branches hanging low and into the path. I thanked as many of them as I could as I biked by, but just wanted to say thanks again for keeping the trail looking good and making it safe for all.
We have been having a problem with deer (possibly the same animal) in our backyard since April. The deer is there all day every day, grazing and pooping everywhere. It has basically taken over our backyard, destroyed our garden, and left poop everywhere. It's not the least bit afraid of us. We are especially concerned about ticks/Lyme disease. Our backyard now feels unsafe due to the presence of the deer scat and the increased probability of Lyme disease-carrying ticks.
ACROSS from this address: fence higher than 4 ft. The yards are those of properties on S Williams Ct. This case seems to be similar to closed case #211524.
The back of my property faces Allen Street, between Adams Street and Larkspur Lane. There is a tree by Allen Street (on the other side of the sidewalk behind my property) that is leaning, and some branches are starting to touch the fence around my backyard. Is it possible to trim that tree?
Excessive growth. House seems unoccupied.
People sleeping on the sidewalk today July 1st.
When at the stop sign at west Tapp Rd and Leonard Springs Rd, it is difficult to see to the south around street limbs and starts from a larger tree. This is already a busy and dangerous intersection and reduced visibility due to foliage increases risk. I am requesting that the limbs and tree shoots be trimmed back for better visibility.
There are so many road closures in town and none of them seem to have proper signage. Just today, I encountered on Kirkwood and on Grimes. Neither closure had any signage before the barriers that indicated that the road would be closed. This was particularly frustrating at the Kirkwood closure because it forced me down a one-way street. If you are going to close roads, but ESPECIALLY when you are closing so many roads at once, please provide drivers with the proper signage!
