There is a pothole that continues to grow on Sheridan just to the right of the line diving the driving lane from the pedestrian/bike lane. The pothole is not located in the pedestrian/bike lane, but it is quite close, and has the potential for a cyclist to run into it when passing others in the lane. The pothole is just east of a green bench on Sheridan.

The yew bushes on the north side of the house on Falcon Drive/Gordon Pike not only are blocking half the sidewalk, but also are blocking the line of site when traveling north on Falcon Drive and approaching Gordon Pike. I took my 3 year old son to Bryan Park yesterday and a man had a dog with him that was poorly restrained (on a 25 foot cable). My son was running towards the toddler playground when the dog ran after him and knocked him down. The dog was on top of my child for several seconds and while the dog didn't harm my son, it was a very frightening experience for him. I don't want him to be afraid of dogs, and I've been trying to teach him to appreciate animal companionship. I don't know what the rules are for leashes in Bryan Park, but dogs need to be handled better, especially near or around the kids' playgrounds. I didn't get the man's name or information but I took a picture. He was walking on a bright orange tightrope and he had a white dog (young, probably a puppy - this is the one that chased my son) and a black dog.
Drainage or Runoff

I received the following email:
Last year, you helped me and my neighbors deal with some of the water runoff plaguing our yards by installing a new storm sewer manhole. At the time, you mentioned the possibility of adding another slotted drain higher up on the alley to deal with the water that comes down the alley and into my yard. Do you think this is a possibility in the near future?
In April, my backyard again was badly flooded with water coming in two streams: down the alley and from Woodlawn. BoI have discussed with Thrasher Landscaping possible remedies. They would involve adding pipes that would attach to the city pipes in my front yard. I am contacting you to see if this is possible. We need to be careful to aid damaging the existing city pipes that run through my side yard.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again for the help you provided last summer.
