Citizen (Mark Land) apparently contacted Utilities before but was not satisfied with the response-- he missed a water payment because he was on vacation and is upset that the situation cannot immediately be fixed. He already paid the past due balance, but water was shut off. He was told it could be turned back on by 6 or by tomorrow, and he just wants it on sooner rather than later. Call (812) 272-1500. Walking by, I noticed water running out of the top of the water meter pit and rolling down the alley

A contractor (5 Star Electric, hired by Duke Energy) for fixing a power line to the city light in front of my house broke the main water supply pipe on Aug 23, 2022. They fixed it, but the water has been leaking since then. After closing the main water valve in the house, the water meter number goes up slowly.
