Hello! It is that wonderful time of year when the water taste so gross again! I know what causes it, I know that you all work so hard to get it cleaned and tasting good again and I thank you for that! I was wondering if you all had a timeline by chance of when it will be taste good to drink again. I feel like it is happening later this year which I was hoping it wasn't going to but here we hare. Nathan Dahm is seeking to end asymmetric post cold war Chinese %10 import Chemical Psychological warfare. I hope the city is making note of the court cases and or pending up coming legislation. More so after city employee David Parkhurst responded to my petitions as unfounded stating such water treatments standards are harmless and there is no difference between Calcium v/s Sodium fluoride. But then again he is amoung the fools who supported Huston South Project 2,154 acres of herbicide in the water shed for Lake Monroe

I live in an apartment complex on the east side of Bloomington. The water has had an algae or dirt taste to it for about 2 weeks now. It seems like the taste is getting stronger and stronger and the smell is horrible in the shower and when brushing my teeth with the tap water.

I had already let the water flow, so it wasn't producing the black debris anymore, but you can see the residue on the side of this plastic container. We have had this problem periodically since we moved here two years ago.

Water taste really bad currently. Last year there was a news release about higher algae levels. Is this true again this year and why the water is tasting bad? It became really noticeable over the weekend.

We all are aware of the taste and smell issue with the water right now. I work at the hospital and many of my patients refuse to drink it because it tastes so bad, as do I. The smell in the shower or when pouring water to boil is so bad. My big issue is that my dog has become very ill with bleeding upon urination, vomiting, and severe diarrhea. When I took her to the vet there were 3 others in the waiting room with dogs with the same issue. I know we have been told that the water is safe to drink but I'm not sure this is a coincidence. I worry that there have not been enough testing done on the safety of the algae in the water on pets. I will be giving mine only bottled water and hope she survives this illness but really want this issue resolved.
