Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers)

701 N Lindbergh DR

Case Date:
4/26/2022

Our neighbors that live at the home on the NW corner of 11th & Lindbergh have water that flows from a spot near the sidewalk on Lindbergh and pools down at the intersection. This morning it was a strong flow. It pools and is causing issues at the end of the street & potholes are forming. It often smells like sewage. We have lived on Lindbergh since October 2018 and this became an issue in mid to late 2021. It did not always smell like sewer, but it has been more recently. We have noticed stronger flows more recently as well, whereas before it may have just been a trickle so we assumed it was stormwater from a sump pump or roof drain.

Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers)

Case Date:
3/24/2020

Third year in a row (2/8/2018 # 163027, 2/8/2019 #167355), when the fatberg grows just downstream from me, the city delivers hundreds of gallons of sewage into my basement. This year was a new high water: 6-7 inches. It is sewer, not my house backing up... It is because of a flaw in the connections just downstream from me. The city has closed the previous reports as "Resolved" without my consent. This is obviously not resolved. I'd much rather have Bloomington spend money on fixing this, rather than attorney fees, but without quick resolution, this year, I will proceed.

Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers)

2402–2998 S Weimer Rd

Case Date:
7/15/2015

While riding my bike on Weimer Rd.; I've noticed on two different occasions the strong smell of sewer gas. A Sewer gas smell to me means either there is effluent top side or there is an over flow into waterway. (Or I suppose something else) but there a definite issue. Exact location is post bridge on Weimer's south end heading toward Tapp Rd. It is also just past the mid point of bridge to Tapp Rd. points. Yes, I know there has been a lot of rain that contributes to these kind of issues, but being that the creek eventually "dumps" into Monroe Reservoir ( our drinking water) Thank you for looking into this. Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers)

2311 S Rogers ST

Case Date:
9/8/2018

Hi, I'd like to report a sewer problem. There is a steady stream of water flowing out of a manhole. It leaks across the sidewalk and then onto Rogers where it flows into the storm sewer drain. It's on the northeast corner at the intersection of South Rogers and Coolidge. I just wanted to alert the utilities department about the issue. Thanks.
