My water bill seems abnormally high (2-3 times higher than any bill I've received the last few years). I saw the article in the Herald Times concerning residences on the south side who were billed incorrectly, which appears to be my case. I'm not sure if this is the proper place to report this, but would appreciate any information you can give me.

My water Utilization is up by a factor of 4 from past months. There is nothing that we are doing to dramatically increase water use. Either past or current metering is in error or there is some kind of major unknown usage.

The person that this is addressed to does not live here at 5314 S. Southway Drive. And we keep getting bills for them. Have came to report this in person and also attempted to call your office with no results. Please get this taken care of. If not to stop the annoyance to me, to help this person keep their water on.

Hello,
I have made a written suggestion today related to the requirement to be present in your Utilities premise (or file a paper form) to request a transfer of billing for water services. I suggested we should be able to do this online...
I had to deal with the same issue today at Duke Energy (tenant left and needed to transferred billing back to me, the landlord). They told me of a very useful process they have setup called "auto turn-on", which lets them know that whenever a tenant requests a turn off, they should actually transfer the service back to the landlord instead of turning it off.
I suggest you do the same thing for the water service!
