The Ferguson Dog Park has low lying areas in all three parts of it. It floods and there is standing water for days after a rain. Just needs a little dirt and some grass seed.
I am a resident of Bloomington and live at: 3445 Constance Avenue I am enrolled in a college course called Environmental Technology. I have a project to perform and was asked by my instructor for the following items of the city where I live, Water Treatment Facility. 1. Types of pipe material 2. Initial cost of the water treatment system 3. Design water flow rate 4. Number of water towers and pumping stations 5. Problems with the system since it was built in 1967 6. Change in elevation from highest to lowest compared to where the location of water treatment facility 7. Types of disinfectant used I found three websites with a lot of information that I need but is there any other sites that would give me some of the answers to the questions listed above? Our water bill has grown exponentially over the last year and we cannot find a reason why. We have had plumbers out who can find no leak so we are turning to the water company to help us investigate.
N Dunn St, on the slope down to the Griffy water plant: a depression on centerline needs filling up. Not technically a pothole, as the pavement is not broken. But a dip 2-3" deep, which causes northbound traffic to go into the other lane to avoid it - as no one wants to risk going too far to the right, off the road, and down the hill into the lake.
Good morning. My name is Kevin. About two months ago I put in a ureport stating that my pipes were vibrating. You sent someone out and they checked and there was no air in the pipes. Since then I have had two plumbers out and also American Leak Detection to verify there was not a leak. They have not been able to find any issues with anything in my house. They thought it was an issue with the new water heater that was put in. They removed the water heater from the water system and the issue continued. The issue that I am having is that sometimes I will hear vibrating in the pipes and other times it will sound like a car engine running. Sometimes it will last a few seconds and then stop other it will last hours. The starts randomly. I will go to bed and nothing and when I wake up it will be making the noise. The issue will stop once I shut the water to the house off. Also if I check my water usage, I am using no water. If I check my neighbors which is in the same hole as mine their water meter is running about a gallon a minute when my pipes are making the noise. When my pipes are quiet their water is not moving at all. If you have any ideas what could be causing the issue please let me know. 1016 w Kirkwood is unsafe. It is for sale and has been abandoned for over a year. It has no locking door on the back but rather a broken single pane storm door held by a concrete brick. Inside there the house is dangerous to enter. There is standing water in the basement that has been there for over a year. It is growing mold and mosquitoes. The walls are down to the studs. There are holes in the floors and ceilings. We have have had to call the police due to intoxicated individuals entering at night. I am afraid someone will get hurt or die by falling into one of the holes or the standing water directly across from the back door.
This is across from 808 S Whitley Drive In Gentry Estates. It was taken last night. There is still standing water this morning.
We have had decreasing water pressure since lunchtime today. Now we have no water coming into the house.
No water service
The culvert just next to 2680 S Wexley Road (latitude 39.1399, longitude -86.5131) needs cleaning. During rain several weeks ago, the water almost came to our door. It seems that this culver is neglected all the time; when they revised the culverts several years ago, this one was omitted. Often we do not see any flow, just standing water around it.
