I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. Sat. morning I woke up to see the outline of an RV in the alley. When I went to take the photo, there was another car behind it, which subsequently moved. I was told by my neighbor that the RV had arrived Fri. night. As I was taking a photo, the owner came out and I informed him that he should move his car because it was in the public alley. He looked at me like I was insane, and then asked why. I also said he was parked next to my fence, where there is a large sign that says "No Trespassing," put up on the advice of Officer Dilts of the BPD. He then proceeded to spit out his toothpaste and water from his mouth onto the green area near the fence under the aforementioned sign. I do not know whether this green area is my property or the public alley, which is one reason we have been requesting that the City demarcate the public alley. I was also appalled by the nastiness. he remained parked in the alley until Sunday afternoon. I am asking for relief from the nonstop use of the public alley as the private backyard of this illegal frat (see Planning for their "Cease to function as a frat" NOV, which was sent twice to them with a final date of "by October 10, 2017." As is obvious from all the various Ureports I have written, most of their illegal parking occurs when no one is available at Parking. And when someone does come, the cars are not ticketed. I believe that only fines will discourage this constant viavai of cars and RVs. In addition to the fear that my fence would be damaged, the RV was hooked up to the house so that there was a motor/generator? going constantly and making constant noise. I am asking for you to come up with a solution to the private use of this public alley - a No Parking sign with towing and ticketing promised, or to vacate the alley so that the illegal frat can have their half to use as they please and we the homeowners at 1003 and 1005 E. Hunter may have our half to use as we please.

Large muddy puddle on south side of Maxwell, between Woodlawn and Manor. Has happened ever since they removed the house and driveway and then filled in the south side of the road. The work they did blocks the water from draining off the edge of the road. Thanks!

Home is on double lot, was in tough shape inside and out; took two years to sell due to condition (initial asking 450,000 sold at 170,600) but finally sold a few months ago. Seller moved out; Neighbors have no info on who bought it but assume investors who will tear down to build 2 new homes. We are writing on behalf of all surrounding neighbors. City did arrange for lawn to finally be mowed (thank you!) but there are other more serious issues: 1. A backyard in ground pool no longer has required fencing in yard and pool cover has come off, water is green/moldy. No fencing hazard for wandering children playing, animals but we are concerned about mosquitoes, etc. 2. All sorts of large pieces of siding are flapping all day long in the wind. In storms the sound can be heard houses away and we all are waiting for the day they rip off and come flying down! 3. A fox family has nested in home - literally underneath 1010 from several entries all around (may be inside?) There are five in total (mom with 4 kits - all now full size) They play around pool area and romp in yard which is lovely to watch but now when it means they are leaving rabbit, bird, animal carcasses all over this property and in our yards. Wildlife told us that any neighbor can pay for trapping them as they won't move them. Seriously - all of us?! Fox family are now going after neighborhood cats, and having growling matches with dogs being walked, especially in the evening. Again, they are absolutely beautiful to watch but not the right habitat. Our daily lives are affected by their habitat next door. No owner name to contact for any of us to ask them to clean up carcasses which also now cause more insect issues - ticks, fleas, mosquito, flies in addition to moldy pool water. Some of us have started piling carcasses up in one place on property. The irony here is that the original owner was Bruce Jennings ... who worked in HAND Dept. for many years before passing away. :-( Thanks for anything you can do. Suggestion to add: New owners would be smart to reach out to all on the street to introduce themselves and help us learn more about their plans. We have lived here forty years; this block is a tight knit, close group of caring neighbors who are reasonable and look forward to new plans for 1010! Thank you. (we have a lot of photos if that is helpful but the narrative seems to sum it up)

Question: why do my house plumbing leaks occur when lots of people leave town for vacation? This happens not every vacation, but most of the leaks in my house have occurred like today, at vacation time, or 4th of july, etc. Is it that city water pressure to my house goes up then? Do you try to regulate pressure for this vacation exodus?

Location 1008 E Thornton Dr.; Public safety/ traffic/ residential parking issue: Large amount of shoulder stone has eroded away due to to water run off from the street. Creating a large rut and beginning to undermine the edge of the steets pavement. (avg. 50'x1'x1') with the stone being washed towards Henderson St. then into the storm sewer system. This issue has been reported on multiple occasions over the last year by multiple residents.

A large and growing area of crumbling asphalt on the northwest corner of E. Maxwell Lane and Manor Dr. could use some repair. The road surface at this intersection is generally in need of repair. Storm water flow seems to be the primary culprit as storm water flows downhill south on Nanor Dr.
