MR FISH HAS A DRAINAGE PROBLEM WITH WATER RUNOFF FROM THE ALLEYWAY NEAR HIS HOME. THE WATER GOES ONTO THE CONCRETE SLAB INTO MR. FISH BASEMENT. (NOTE: I DID NOT TALK WITH FISH, THE COMPLAINT WAS TAKEN IN BY DEB VOLLMER)
Customer complained that her water tastes bad and thnks it is making her sick. Customer would like her water tested.
Chamness lives in Hoosier Acres. There is a stream that runs by his property at 621. There are two culvert pipes that run under the street. Chamness noticed that after last night's rain there is a wide stream of water that is running along the culverts. The strip of water is on the north side of the culverts. The water is eroding away the dirt and he is afraid as it continues to rain the erosion will become worse. He would like someone to look at it to see if there is a problem.
RESIDENT CALLED ABOUT SAFETY CONCERNS DUE TO STEEP GRADE AND OPEN HOLE AROUND WATER MAIN IN UTILITY EASEMENT
LOW WATER PRESSURE
He reported this as a storm sewer issue at first and Tony E. told him all we could do is build up the berm to help keep the water from running into his garage. Mr Mcconnaughy called me and said that's not what he wants. He says the street dept. keeps patching the asphalt in the alley and now it is too high and that causes the water to drain into his garage. He wants the asphalt lowered from University St to his garage (he said about 20') so the existing rock berm he already has will keep the water out of his garage. I told him I would refer this to Street Dept.
Customer has a drainage problem Rain water running down the alley and going under his garage door.
