Lorelei Cascio, Vice Pres. of Wapehani Hills Apts., requests appeal before USB to appeal high water/sewer bill.
Letter from Fice President of Wapehani Hills Apts. requested hearing before USB Admin. Subcommittee re. "extremely high water bill." Will schedule meeting and advise customer of date, time, and location.
Customer is very upset about the fact of having to pay a higher rate for their irrigation water vs their house water. Also, they were surprised about the $18 fee to have the meter s/o in the fall because we used to not charge a "disconnect" fee only a "reconnect" fee in the Spring. I explained to her the policy had changed, and to avoid paying the service fees over the Winter she would have the $18 s/o in the Fall and the $18 turn on in the Spring. I let her know each trip was a svc call.

On July 29, 1996, Ms. Murphyy got a disconnect notice on a different account. She said she was told by CBU employee that she had two accounts - one was a phantom account and was meter reader's fault. The clerk stated it was all straightened out. While Ms. Murphy was on vacation, her water was disconnected. Water was not turned back on as they were told after her call. Meter reader turned water on. She wants apology.
