Request to check chlorine/lead/iron at IU Collins Hall. Filter salesperson is advising dorm residents city water is too high in chlorine & unsafe.
HIT WATER SERVICE LINE IN REAR IN ALLEY
Cust complaining of bad taste in water.
Ms. Robinson of SCCAP sent ltr. to Mayor's office stating continuing problem with water quality due to gravel and debris in line. She had their lines checked and no problem was found. She thinks it is CBU lines.
Ms. Kent called to report that her water has been cloudy for approx. 2 weeks. It clears up somewhat when she lets water run. She does not want to let water run a lot for fear of running up her bill. She would like someone to flush hydrant to see if water clears up. If it doesn't, she would like test run to see if water is okay.

Stonebelt Center: Katy Cunningham called and stated the water there had had yellowish color.
Jason Campbell of the Marsh's store on N. Kinser Pike called to state that the water coming from their fountains has had an "ocean" taste for the past hour. He would like water tested to determine if the water is at fault or if their equpment is.
