The home we bought 2 years ago has flood damage and serious drainage issue that I can't not get under control. There is stormwater runoff that has been coming from (5) different neighboring properties and especially the one huge lot at 2130 Shan Crest Hill 46239. When there is a rainstorm not only does or crawl space completely fill up but our yard on the South, East, and west sides become quickly flooded like a lake. there is a 12" culvert drain pipe that runs east to west on the South side that run right next to the road Raymond Street that should be able to accept my neighbors & our ground water but the 12" easement drain pipe is roughly 13" higher win elevation than the area in the rear of my home where all of their ground water collects so it just fills up and resides under our homes foundation. My wife and I have tried everything bought and burnt out several 1, 2. and 3 HP water pumps with no luck. there is just way, WAY to much water. We are becoming very worried about the possibility's of permanent foundation damage, mold, and our home becoming condemned. Every contractor at least (9) or (10) decline getting involved engineers as well. we are at the end of our rope sorta speak.... There is not an issue at my house. However on Veness Road right before Bush Lake Road, water has been running on the road for well over 2 months. It is a very slow run off, but is definitely coming from the right land of Veness Road. About a month ago there was a major water leak on Veness just before Bloomington Ferry. That was fixed. This one has been leaking since early Spring. Thought I should let you know.

The storm drain couldn't handle all the water from the bad storm over the weekend, and the runoff created a hole behind the drain. Don't know if there's any damage, but if anything, the grate needs a thorough cleaning. Thank you!

The storm drains have been very clogged on the 500 block of south Woodlawn well before the cicadas and excessive rainfall. These need to be cleared to prevent cars from hydroplaning in standing water and “sidewalk tsunamis” that hit pedestrians when a car passes. Thank you.

There is an excessive amount of water flowing down South Fess down the street from my house. It has been flowing for at least 15 min now and appears to look like sewer water. It has not rained so it does not appear to be a result of that.

Hello, I am writing you again to address the storm water issue we have in front of our property. It has been almost a year since the process of fixing this issue has started and it is becoming frustrating. We have been very patient, and we understand that there are priorities in the city but if this issue is not addressed the road will continue to erode and soon we will not be able to access our driveway. As I stated, we started the process in March 2022; we waited until September and submitted another ticket UReport 181323; this time the crew came and did some work (since we did not receive any information, we did not know if they are finished by the way they left the project for the past few months). I wish I could attach more photos of the "finished " project. Anyway whenever they cleaned the trench, the asphalt was scraped, and everything was left as is and every time it rains all the dirt and sediments go in the culvert clogging it. The rain today made everything worse, the culvert is clogged and the water is again on the street. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Below is the first email we sent on March 14, 2022 Hello, We are contacting you with hopes of getting some advice regarding the storm water stream that runs along E Vernon Ave in Matlock Heights neighborhood. There is a storm/ rain water stream( path) that runs under N Dunn Rd , goes west on E Vernon Ave and under Fritz Dr and eventually goes into a larger creek. Over the past few years this pathway has been deteriorating with some of the road erosion happening right before the water goes into the culvert under our driveway. The previous owner of our property added some rocks and blocks but it does not solve the road erosion problem. There is a large water main break outside of 407 E Varsity Lane in Bloomington IN, Water is pouring up from the sidewalk and causing a stream to run down the side of the house. Needs urgent care. Likely shutoff.

There appears to be a broken water main because water has been rising to the surface on my property the past 5 days. My front north sidewalk (photo attached), east sidewalk, and south concrete garage floor have been soaked for the past 5 days. My basement is dry and no pipes are leaking in my house.
