Our water tastes absolutely horrible and nothing makes it better. Brita filters are brand new, we added fruit as you suggested, and it’s becoming an issue for my family. We drink tap water daily and it’s our main source of hydration. The cost of buying water is atrocious but we have 2 boys who drink water all day. How is the city going to help us with this issue?
There is water seeping out of the ground and onto the pavement on the east side of Oak Street, the alley that runs between 5th & 6th Streets. On the other side of Oak is a fire hydrant. I suspect the pipe is leaking.
The water is so terrible tasting and smelling that my family cannot drink it! We were forced to buy water. How long will this last? The foul smell and taste happens nearly every year. With CBU being the only source of potable water in Bloomington, there is no alternative! We are having to spend our limited resources to get drinkable water. We should at least get a decrease in water charges if CBU is unable to correct the issue permanently.

We are contacting you with hopes of getting some advice regarding the storm water stream that runs along E Vernon Ave in Matlock Heights neighborhood. There is a storm/ rain water stream( path) that runs under N Dunn Rd , goes west on E Vernon Ave and under Fritz Dr and eventually goes into a larger creek. Over the past few years this pathway has been deteriorating with some of the road erosion happening right before the water goes into the culvert under our driveway. The previous owner of our property added some rocks and blocks but it does not solve the road erosion problem. We are needing guidance and help since we do not know how to address the erosion and also the public road. Our hope is to have this issue addressed before the Raining season starts. Thank you !
Help! For days now water literally smells and tastes like dirt. Must be really bad - pets will NOT drink either. Solutions? We’re clearly not alone. Are you going to supply bottled water since you think you deserved more money to run your operation??? For dirt???
Our water stinks and tastes terrible.
For the past week, our tap water has a bad odor and it tastes bad. It has a moldy smell and taste. It’s hard to even brush your teeth with it. Our neighborhood has had a lot of utility work done over the past month or two. There’s been a lot of digging for cables throughout the neighborhood. Could this have inadvertently hit a water line?? Is the algae bloom high in lake Monroe? I've noticed that in the last week the water has a musty or moldy taste like it did last year around this time. I was looking to see if there was any report of it in the paper, but didn't find any, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
