Open sanitation bins - 1 trash, 3 recycling bins that are overflowing - sitting next to house located at 310 N. Dunn St in alley that runs between E. 8th St & 7th St. Never taken out - it's a problem every summer. Not sure if anyone is living at the home. But, it has become a big issue. Would someone please take a look at the situation.
Unregistered vehicles parked beside building in 2 hr parking zone, parked overnight in no parking area. Owners were told by bpd to move by 7/7, and no progress has been made.
On 7/7/2026 at approximately 5:00, my vehicle 2017 GMC Terrain, plate 714LG was towed by TowTime Towing at 523 N Lincoln St. I am a current resident who pays for parking at this complex. Management has my license plate, year, make, and model on file as an authorized vehicle; I had not yet been issued my physical parking badge. The tow occurred after the property management office had closed for the day. To my knowledge, no owner or authorized agent of the lot was present at the time of the tow to sign a contemporaneous written authorization for my specific vehicle, as required by BMC 4.32.100(a). The tow company is demanding $300 for release, which appears to exceed the fee limits in BMC 4.32.130. I request that the City investigate this company's compliance with Chapter 4.32, including its towing license, the written authorization for this tow, and the fees charged. This is the 2nd time I’m reaching out about a nuisance light. I reached out on 06/16/26 about a nuisance light on the neighboring houses property. That case number is #211729. The case still just says open. The house is currently vacant. There is a private light pole on the property that is so bright it illuminates my backyard plus my bedroom windows. Because of this I I am having a lot of difficulty sleeping. I don’t mean to sound like that person but I am a first responder that spends a lot of time awake through the night so when I’m at home, my sleep is very important to me. Also because of this light, my family and I are no longer able to sit out on our back porch in the evenings due to being blinded by this light. I did send one image and my first complaint. It shows where the light is in comparison to my back yard. I will send another picture with this complaint. The picture with this complaint is my face illuminated from the light as I sit on my back porch in the evening. If need be I have many more pictures I would be glad to send.
