Starting yesterday, we started noticing an unpleasant taste and odor with our drinking water.
Having visited the county government offices at the showers building recently I am shocked at the water quality. I had taken a drink from a water fountain and it was so bad. There is a bad chemical taste and it even smells weird. I hope this isn't what we expect the county workers to be drinking because I fear they could get sick from drinking it. I was just a visitor to the busing that took a drink from the water fountain. I couldn't imagine working in a building that has unsafe drinking water.
We have black granules from faucets, washer and bathtub. It is intermittent but causing concerns. Home is under 24 years old so plumbing is modern.
Hi, My roommate and I have been experiencing skin problems (i.e. dryness, flaking and a lot of sudden acne when we both have never had acne) for the past couple weeks and we have ruled out any other changes we have made. We were notified by our landlord that the city of Bloomington was making changes in the water system, and when we went home out of state for a week, the skin problems resolved. Thank you for your time!
Musty tap water, as bad as its ever been. I have a .5 micron carbon filter on my kitchen sink and the awful smell taste still gets through. Been this way for several days now. Something is up.
The water tastes like algae.
Water smells stale, water is discolored, cloudy and sputters out of kitchen sink faucet.
Water has started to taste and smell dirty. The issue started slightly on Friday 9/17 and has continued to get worse since.
Our water pressure has dropped considerably this morning to the point where the water is just dribbling out the faucet.
There is no issue. This report is being filed for use in the creation of an SOP for responding to a complaint filed on uReport. Please direct to Tyler Steury, Utilities Water Quality.
