I saw a single person in a black suv making an off-road track of some kind on Tuesday afternoon. Neighbors adjacent the park had wondered about the truck tracks in the grass, and I witnessed what has been happening. The guy left the parking space on W. 16th heading west and turned onto the grass parallel to the creek. Then he slowly drove up the hill, slipping and sliding in the mud back to the single parking spot. He repeated the same route, as if he were trying to make a 4-wheeler track. Very strange. I was staring at him from my garden at the corner. When he saw me stare, he left the parking spot and headed away toward Tri-North. I thought the park maintenance staff might want to know. Also, the little footbridge crossing the ditch was handy, but it was removed during creek/culvert repair.---Sharon Roualet, Crescent Bend Neighborhood Association Crestmont Park is busier than ever and needs attention.

coyotes rage through Crestmont Park and surrounding properties nightly. Some neighbors report seeing individual coyotes in their yards. One neighbor reports seeing a coyote jump a fence on W 16th and killed a cat. Feral cats have been eaten. Last night I heard what sounded like coyote vs fox killing. One neighbor claims that the coyotes live in a hole they dug by a ditch on W. 16th west of Lindbergh. I sympathize with all the creatures who have been displaced by huge complexes in the area, But these guys have got to go. The roller slide has a loose roller that us lower than others and causes a gap to catch fingers, toes, and clothing. The tall slide was replaced with a zip tied grate without the zip ties clipped, so it can poke kids. Bryan Park needs a better park than this!

The parking lot in Bryan Park near the sand volleyball court along Henderson has a problem. On the north side of the main play structure in the play surface there is a decent sized hole. This hole is big enough that a child or adult could easily step in it and be injured. The hole is through a rubber type play surface covering the ground. I'd recommend repairing this if possible.
