Students from Bloomington High School North park their vehicles on Valleyview Drive, mainly from Winding Way to Parkview Drive. April 13, approx. 4:15 p.m., City of B'ton fire truck 332 & aerial truck ran a vehicle off the road at a stop light on Third Street responding to a call regarding a structure fire in Park Square. Caller is a firefighter himself and feels it was unnecessary for the trucks to drive so fast when there were 2 other fire departments responding. Comments have been made before and this type problem should have been corrected--but wasn't.

Mr. Adams states that crossing east third street is dangerous. He states that there is no crosswalk and he has observed children and seniors having difficulty crossing the road. He wants to know if the City has plans to correct the problem.

The problem is actually in the sharp curve on Ramble Road East as soon as you come in off of North Dunn Street. There are bushes/tree limbs that have overgrown into the street causing drivers to go over into the oncoming lane. This is a problem in this sharp curve when you cannot see someone coming the other direction.

Mr. McClelland reported that a city buss pulled out of Tulip Tree Apartments without stopping for the stop sign causing him to have to brake suddenly. The incident happen around 3:00pm today and he was able to get the plate number of the bus(#65289) This was a dangerous situation. Mr. McClelland would like a call back from a supervisor so he can discuss this matter further.
