Phone Call: April 13, approx. 4:15 p.m., City of B'ton fire truck 332 & aerial truck ran a vehicle off the road at a stop light on Third Street responding to a call regarding a structure fire in Park Square. Caller is a firefighter himself and feels it was unnecessary for the trucks to drive so fast when there were 2 other fire departments responding. Comments have been made before and this type problem should have been corrected--but wasn't.
