Dave Williams inspected the doors to the mausoleum and found them to be structurally sound and in good condition.
As stated in the follow up letter to Mr. Barrett, the staining of the bronze finish on the doors is a chemical process that naturally occurs when bronze and other exotic metals are exposed to the elements. Rose Hill will take immediate steps to clean and polish the doors to the mausoleum, however the cleaning will not prevent the staining from returning in the future. Periodic polishing will be added to the maintenance list. *(see attached letter)
