Ms. Wagener recently moved to this location and set up an appointment for installation of cable and internet services. She was informed by Insight that service could not be provided because her home was too far from Homestead. She also stated that there is cable service on Baldwin Drive which is approx. 175 ft. from the back of her property. Why couldn't service be run from Baldwin to her home? Ms. Wagener stated that Insight should take whatever steps necessary to provide service.

Mr. Woodring feels that Insight has a monopoly in this area in regards to cable service. The TCC should also have an agreement with Insight regarding broad ban service. He was unable to sign up for SBC's service due to a third party ownership of the lines specifically related to Acadia Court area. Due to this problem, he felt that he was forced into signing up with Insight at higher price in order to receive the broad ban service.
