About Pili's Party Taco

We are a family-owned business, and our name is pilis party tacos. we specialize in selling authentic Mexican food. We are located at 109 s Walnut Street, 10 years ago I had quit working due to me becoming a mom. as time went on, I started working again but me and my husband decided we wanted another child. After becoming a mom of 2 I decided to become a stay-at-home mom. As my first daughter became older, she was needing help on her homework but due to my lack of understanding written English she started telling me that she only wanted her dad to help her this broke my heart because even though I didn’t understand written English very well I knew I could understand it well enough to help her. I wanted to prove to her that I was capable enough to help her and support her when needed, so as time went on, I decided that I would create something for her and my other child to have that would provide a good support for them when they got older. I would work on perfecting the recipes, logo, and name for the next 2 years. With the support of my friends and family I was able to start my business in my backyard and started getting sales.as I grew so did my demand for products my little girl would lend me a helping hand in watching her sister and when able she would ask to help me with the business.

After a while we got shut down due to the fact that we were not allowed to have a business in our home, so me and my husband decided to buy a food truck and work on it. He spent days working on it and fixing it. Thanks to him, we were able to have our first food truck and start selling on the street- and for the past 8 years we have been able to sell and have had the honor of being a part of the Bloomington community. All of our products are cleaned, cut, fixed, marinated and cooked by our amazing team who put time, effort and energy into creating the best time you can have at pilis party tacos.
